Installing ANY Version of Blender
If you need to use a different version of blender, you can get any version right back to Blender 1.0 from this archive.
For example, if you want to use Blender 4.02 you can click "Blender 4.0" from the Blender version archive, then download and run it following these instructions:
- Select the zip file for the version of Blender you want, for example: blender-4.0.2-windows-x64.zip
- Go to your downloads folder (or wherever you downloaded it to) and find the file
- Right click the file and choose "Extract All". This may take a while. When it's done you should see a new folder called "blender-4.0.2-windows-x64"
- Go into the folder and double click the file just called "blender".
- It should save all your settings separately from other versions, so you shouldn't have to worry about conflicts, and you should be able to continue to run as many versions of Blender as you like!
